Eric Kaare is the man behind Galleri Nordenvind. He started creating Easter exhibitions in Vendsyssel at the age of 17 and was one of the founders of Frederikshavn Kunstforening. Over the years, he has collaborated with both Danish and international artists and established his own printmaking workshop in Sæby in 1980.
His work has brought international names such as Corneille and James Coignard to North Jutland, and he has built an extensive network in France, Sweden and the Netherlands. Since 2012, Galleri Nordenvind has been housed in the listed courthouse "Retfærdigheden" in Sæby, where he continues to present new international artists and develop the gallery's profile.
