Visual artist Gitte Toft manages to capture the special atmosphere of Denmark's northernmost regions in her paintings, which she exhibits in two showrooms - one in Skagen and one in Aalbæk.

As a passionate landscape painter, Gitte finds great joy in the creative process and the immersion that comes with it. She is inspired by the characteristic light, the movement of the sea and the open spaces in the area around Skagen.

"I want to create paintings that bring joy and give the viewer an experience of Skagen's unique nature," says Gitte Toft.
"Whether it's wild, roaring seascapes or more gentle depictions of the moors and beaches, I hope that my works evoke a sense of calm and well-being - and perhaps a lasting memory of the Skag atmosphere."
